Being new to the role, which was solely training design and delivery, I wanted to have the most current knowledge, disciplines and methodologies. The set-up of the programme was extremely convenient for me.
I have even influenced my team to move some classroom elements to online workshops (webinars) and the response from the organisation was fantastic, with over 100 people from across the world attending each session.
It just shows how much of a need there was to increase my knowledge, and it’s great to know that my initiative reached so many staff members at minimum cost. The return on investment is through the roof as well, which has already been recognised in my appraisal.
