CIPD Level 7

The CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic Learning & Development is one of the most respected L&D qualifications, recognised worldwide by employers and highly regarded across the people profession.

While there are no formal entry requirements, you should be 21+ and we recommend you have at least one of the following: 

• Significant experience in an L&D or OD&D role
• Senior managerial experience covering various L&D elements
• An HR degree or a relevant qualification, such as the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in Organisational Learning & Development

You should also have sufficient literacy and numeracy skills to enrol.

When you enrol on the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic Learning & Development, you'll study 4 core units, 3 pathway (specialist) units, and your choice of 1 optional unit:

For each module you study, you’ll complete written assignments (generally up to 4,000+ words) designed to showcase the knowledge you’ve gained and the skills you’ve developed on your CIPD Level 7 course. All of your assignments are submitted online, marked by our expert tutors and moderated by CIPD.

Please note that CIPD updates their Assessment Briefs annually as part of their Assessment Change Cycle.
