My goals at the start of the programme were to further my career and to gain confidence in my own ability to advise others. The CIPD Level 5 HR Management Online programme did this!

Why did you choose DPG?

I chose to complete my CIPD Level 5 HR Management Online Certificate with DPG after finding them so helpful during my CIPD Level 3 HR Practice Diploma. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and I gained all the support I need from Gary, my tutor, as he never minded my constant need for reassurance. 2017 threw a lot of obstacles at me, so the option to do the course completely online meant I could do it at my own pace.

What were your goals of starting the programme?

My goals at the start of the programme were to further my career and to gain confidence in my own ability to advise others. However, throughout the programme, further opportunities from DPG arose. I decided to ‘top-up’ my Certificate to a Diploma which meant completing two additional units. By doing so, I also gained a Level 5 ILM Diploma in Leadership & Management with no extra work!

How has the programme helped your career and where are you now?

The programme has certainly given me more confidence. I’ve recently had my own appraisal at work and have been told by the Director that she’s impressed with the improvements I have made over the past year. This recognition alone has given me a great morale boost and has helped me to feel valued. A pay rise has been promised too so watch this space!
